When the beetle arrived at our premises, the client was looking for a full bespoke interior re build, as the interior was virtually bare. D2S designed a possible interior for the vehicle compromising of bespoke enclosures for the audio equipment, custom seat stitching, lighting and bespoke carpeting.
D2S provided a drawing for the client’s approval and the client was overwhelmed with the ideas. The project was then built from the drawings, and then upholstered using deep grey and silver Jaguar leather to complement the deep Purple paintwork, detail stitching work was also integrated into the seats to represent pin striping which is featured on the exterior of the vehicle.
