This VW Camper van came to us as already a stunning example which just needed a new interior to finish it off. The client requested the interior to be finished to an original style but with some modern features. A ‘stone’ colour leather was chosen with grey piping to complement the exterior paintwork. Twin stitched pleats using a matching grey thread were used for the centre sections of the seats and panels. The carpeting was finished off using a deep wool carpet finished with a matching binded edge. The rear boot area features a custom rear panel to house the amplifiers, a custom subwoofer enclosure and the clients drinks cabinet. These features are all custom touches but there are still many original details in place such as the chrome strips on the panels, which were brought into the design to break up the leather sections and the ‘hand punched’ hole design for the front door speakers which are all finishing touches for this VW camper interior.
